Why don’t every good things last?

Left house for work one day and saw the petals of the roses in the soil of the bigger outdoor plants. Felt so sad…

Why don’t good things ever last? Yes sure, there’s the ultimate love of God Himself, and His promised presence, but everything else under the sun, they fade.

But that isn’t exactly a bad thing right? that means the bad things won’t last, but also it means that all good things (under the sun again i must stress) will come to an end.

Just a fact of life i must learn to live with. but may i find the eternal Goodness in the God i’ve dedicated my life to, and not lose focus on the fickle nature of the world.:) Ds lim cooking up one of the last meals in COGS. :((((
